If you're a news junky or current events lover like me, then you're always looking up news and current events. And I love writing about them as well, heck I even have a blog all about it. But this site allows me to write about news,current events and opinions and get paid.

Ground Report is a world wide website where you can post news about things that matter to you. And every month you get paid! I have been a member for two months and have gotten paid both months. They pay by paypal and I love them! They pay you by views on your articles every month.

A Great Tool

I have used this site more than once, and granted it could be better. But since it's free, I have nothing to complain about. It's called Addme.com , they have two plans. One is free and the other is paid. I always go with the free one, but it's really up to you.

What I like about them is the fact that it's easy and all you do in return is post a small button on your site. Now I haven't used it on this site yet, but I will!

Ciao is a site where they pay you 1 dollar for every review and for rating of your review you also get paid. The beauty of this site is the fact that, you don't have to live in North America to join and get paid. They pay through paypal! And if that doesn't get your attention, then this will. Microsoft(Yes, the company behind big products like Windows,Xbox and Zune), has bought it. So I highly doubt that Bill Gates would want them to buy a bad scam site!

Google Docs Are A Life Saver!

I know I have dissed Google tons on this blog, same for Apple. But today is Google's lucky day! I am going to give them a great review.

This past week, I was hired for a freelance job. A job that is a contract job, meaning that I sign the agreement with the owner. But instead of slow snail mail, they emailed it to me. Not bad, right? True, but it was in the Microsoft's .doc form. So I have Microsoft's Works and that won't read .doc files. So instead of download a bunch of freeware(later on, I ought to do a post about the wonderful world of freeware!) that might and might not work, I remembered hearing about Google Docs.

The beauty of it is this, you don't download any software, it's all browser based! Perfect for someone like me, with a slow and old fashion Internet connection. So I thought, well I really have nothing to lose trying it. And you know what? It worked like a charm. I was able to do it all, fill it out and save it to my hard drive, all being online and doing it in a browser based script!

So if you ever need to fix a file, use Google Docs, they will make you smile!

A Few Side Notes....

My first is a question to my readers, would you like to see a whole website and not just a blog by me? And what I mean by a "whole website" is, it will have tons more than what my blogs just has and links to all that I write for. Of course if I do create a website, I wouldn't abandon my blogs by anymeans. It would be loads of fun for me to do, but my main issue is, would you even bother to read it and use it? I would most likely give out links and tips on how I do it and how to help market. Please be honest.

On to other things!

I just joined HubPages, and it sounds like fun! My only issue is, it's slow on my good ol' dial up connection. I hear it can help drive traffic to my site and I know people can stumble upon it pretty easy. I think it can be useful for everybody! Why I say that?
1-It's already got high traffic, and if you comment on other hubs, more people see your profile and thus far, they're likely to see your blog.
2-give out tips and help others. I'm sure you wished you knew what you know now, when you started!
3-You can join google adsesne,amazon and others and place you code and get paid that way.
