The CEO of Nation Media Group, Linus Gitahi used to work for global pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. During his work at GlaxoSmithKline, he was the head for Africa marketing, then got promoted General Manager for the Africa and Indian Ocean areas.
He now over sees Africas largest media group, which produces both print electronic media in Africa. NMG publishes 9 news papers and has teamed up with TNT Worldwide Express to help exspaned their marketing. Linus Gitahi is also a member of Director of Equity Bank, Ltd Afrika Investment Bank and Federation of Kenya Employers.
Linus Gitahi is married to Pauline Gitahi, they have to daughters Julie and Sheila-where they all live together in Nairobi, Kenya.
