Dell-icious

Hey Apple, move over! Dell is making a mp3 comeback that might make you grow moldy!

Okay, remember when Dell back 2003 came out with the Dell Dj? A hip mp3 player that made a splash even for a second?

I didn't think so.

But that's okay, cause Dell is making a comeback into the mp3 world with more than a simple mp3 player!

Apple's IPhone is over the $300.00 dollar limit that most people cannot afford, so a mp3 player with WI-FI that isn't over $200.00 dollars is lacking. But maybe starting in September, it won't be!

Dell has created a mp3 player that has WI-FI connection and a music subscription service to go with it, all for below $100.00 dollars doesn't sound so bad, eh?

You can read just what the CEO of Dell had to say here. It will make you smile!

Go Dell, and Apple go away!

New Series:Website Wednesday

Greetings!

I come with a new and first ever series on this blog, it's called Website Wednesday! Where every week(on Wednesday's if you guessed), I'll post a new website and review it for you my dear readers!

So on to the first post of my series!

--------------------------------------

Who doesn't like to make a little extra money(I know you do!)? We all can use it, even if the economy was doing good(which it isn't, if you haven't noticed). So I am sure that everybody thinks this sooner or later, "Gee, wouldn't it be nice to find a way to make a little extra cash?".

Mmhmm, I have been there. So you might get the idea one day to google the term "free money". Oh, now you wished you hadn't! Scams crawl all over the place like little bugs. Now you can't tell what is real and what isn't.

Such a shame, but their is a way to make "free" money. You don't need to spend a dime if you don't want to and all it really takes is time. But I am sure you already spend your time cleaning spam out of your email box.

This is where CashCrate comes in!

It's a PTC(paid to complete) that allows you to use old email address and get money for it. I have been paid by them, and many others have to. Just ask people at their active forums!

Tons are free! Meaning no need to spend a dime, just your time(cheezy, I know)! You can make money every month if you like too, darlings.

All you need is some time, old email address and multitasking skills. They do have ones that cost some money, but I avoid those at all cost. Just stick with the free ones, and you're set to make some money.

They send out checks every month, so no need to have a paypal or other crap like that.

What are you waiting for? Sign up now!

GIMP-Great OpenSource Freeware

So imagine this, you see all these pretty computer graphics and want to know how to make them. So you ask, you find out that they used some fancy expensive software. You know you don't have that kind of money to blow, so you search the Internet for days-maybe even months. What feels like forever, you find some free software, but like most-it is limited.

So this goes on for another 6 months, then you one day find a software that does all the fancy stuff, just like Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. You think like a smarty pants would and say, "okay this does look great. but what is the price?". Then you search and you read the most amazing words one could see, "free".

Wait, don't rub your eyes. It is free. Don't check your heart rate or see if you're breathing, it is real.

If that's your story, then my friend- you are not alone!

Or

Maybe it isn't so melodramatic(hey, we all need a laugh), but your search is finally over. I'll wait while you do you're chicken dance.

do...dee...doo

Well, you should be done dancing. Or at least I hope you should be ;)

But back to the real topic.

It's called the GIMP, a open source code that allows it to be free(what a beautiful thing that is, eh?)

It all started in 1995 by two guys, but is now ran by free volunteers. It is always being updated and is still being worked on. Every few months they come out with their latest version. It is multilingual and can be ran on cross-platform.

Perfect, right?

Wait, it can only get better here.

You can now use those nifty photoshop brushes with GIMP without converting them. A time and perhaps a life saver for those who are tech challenged.

But enough about what makes it great, don't take my word for it. Download it yourself and try it.

You can download the software here at GIMP.org

Download addition brushes to make your GIMP ever more effective at Deviant Art

Great site with an awesome forum to help you and learn how to use it for the better at Gimp Talk

Enjoy and big props to the people who made the GIMP happen.

Welcome New Readers!

This is my first real post, and I just thought it would be nice to introduce myself and yourselves. Just a little quick note before I'll begin, if you comment, I'll follow. I need one of those tags, don't I?

On to myself now

I am Miss Virtual Reality, if you haven't noticed. But I am also Artful Frog(that's the title of my other blog on here, it's political). I love all things tech and like to share my knowledge with everybody on the world wide web(isn't that great?) This blog will be used to share fun and new stuff in the world of technology. You never know what is next in this world. Think of it like a never ending ride at the amusement park! ;)

Anyways, so please feel free to tell me about yourself and your blog. Shameless self promotion is a must!

Back to regular broadcasting now....
